The pages in this book that you will follow each day are to assess your activities, habits, nutrition intake, sleep, hydration, spending, emotional and mental health. When we assess these things each day we get a clear picture of our overall health. With a clear picture of our health we are given the chance to build up our health and our overall well-being begins to better.
Each day in this journal includes two pages. On one side it will ask you to document activities and feelings that influence your physical well-being. How did you sleep the night before, what were you grateful for today, what meals did you have today, how many glasses of water did you drink, what kind of exercise or purposeful movement did you have, and what motivates you.
The other page will have you assess, and track how are you are attending to all of the other aspects of your life. There’s something magical that happens when you can recognize what you have accomplished and how you are proud of yourself or others. This page also has space for recording how you are caring for many other aspects of your whole self. Take a few minutes to jot down some key phrases, words or a sentence about your daily physical, emotional, mental, social, financial, and spiritual self.
Lastly and at the end of each day what want to assess your energy levels. Of course, a full day of all the business of life and self-care are taxing, but they can also be energizing. Notice your overall mental and physical energy as you progress each day through The Health Journal.
